PURPOSE: A water electrolysis device capable of heat storage is provided to improve electrolysis efficiency by employing electrode plates coated with platinum-based metal in an electrolyzer. CONSTITUTION: A water electrolysis device capable of heat storage comprises an electrolyzer(100) comprising electrode plates coated with platinum-based metal or platinum-based metal oxide, an electrolyzer temperature sensor(110) measuring the temperature of the electrolyzer, an air-cooling heat exchanger(200) regulating the temperature of the electrolyzer, a water-cooling heat exchanger(300) regulating the temperature of the electrolyzer, an electrolyte supplementation tank(400) supplementing electrolyte to the electrolyzer in connection with the air- and water-cooling heat exchangers, a heat storage tank(500) recovering reaction heat in connection with the water-cooling heat exchanger, and a heat storage tank temperature sensor(600) measuring the temperature of the heat storage tank.
