<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cable for charging an electric vehicle capable of avoiding winding disorder when winding a cable around a winding body and entanglement when veering it out, and downsizing the winding body of the cable, by decreasing the cross sectional area of the cable and a storage volume of the cable, and making the cable capable of winding into an aligned state even without using an aligned winder. <P>SOLUTION: The cable is made in a flat cable structure disposed at the both ends with two insulated wire cores for power supply. The flat structure makes it possible to suppress a temperature rise caused by heat generation in a conductor due to a current, because a distance between the insulated wire cores for power supply can be made larger compared to a round structure, which improves a heat dissipation effect. Thus, for a cable of the same allowable current, since the conductor cross sectional area of a flat structure can be smaller than a round structure, a cable cross sectional area can be made smaller and improvements in housing efficiency and extraction efficiency of the cable can be achieved owing to a flat structure. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
