<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power generation plant capable of reducing the capacity of a motor to be used for a lubrication system. <P>SOLUTION: A power generation apparatus includes a generator 3, a steam turbine 2, and a gas turbine 1. Lubricating oil in a lubricating oil tank 13 is supplied to bearings 4, 5, 7, 8, 9 for supporting shafts of the steam turbine 2, the generator 3 and the gas turbine 1, respectively. The lubricating oil tank 13 is commonly provided to the generator 3, the steam turbine 2, and the gas turbine 1. Three or more electric-driven main oil pumps 10 (10A, 10B, 10C) are provided for supplying the lubricating oil stored in the lubricating oil tank 13 to each bearing. Two or more of the electric-driven main oil pumps are used for regular service, and the other one of the electric-driven main oil pumps is used for backup service in case of an emergency. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
