CURABLE COMPOSITION FOR LENS MATERIAL, MANUFACTURING METHOD OF LENS, AND LENS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a curable composition for lens material which is dissolved in various (meth) acrylic monomers and has a higher refractive index than those of the conventional acrylic compounds.

SOLUTION: A curable composition for lens material contains (A) a compound represented by the general formula (1), and (B) a photoradical initiator, where in the general formula (1), X is a sulfur atom or an oxygen atom; R1are hydrogen atoms or (meth) acryloyl groups and at least one of them is the (meth) acryloyl group; and n is an integer of 0-2.
