<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately determine the position of a wheel in a circumferential direction and further to suppress manufacturing costs or power consumption. <P>SOLUTION: A tire sensor unit comprises a tire state detection section which detects the state of a tire, a transmitter which wirelessly transmits a tire state data signal, an acceleration sensor which generates a detecting signal corresponding to acceleration along a radial direction of the tire, and a sensor unit controller which determines a position of the tire sensor unit in a circumferential direction of the wheel on the basis of the detecting signal from the acceleration sensor. The sensor unit controller reads the detecting signal of the acceleration sensor at predetermined read time intervals ΔT and changes the read time interval ΔT in accordance with a magnitude of acceleration G<SB POS="POST">i</SB>obtained from the detecting signal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
