PROPULSION APPARATUS FOR SHIP AND METHOD FOR ASSEMBLING PROPULSION APPARATUS

PURPOSE: A propelling apparatus for a vessel and an assembling method for the same are provided to form a reverse rotating unit with a plurality of bevel gears and to install the reverse rotating unit at the tail of a hull. CONSTITUTION: A propelling apparatus for a vessel includes a driving shaft(10), a rear propeller(20), a front propeller(30), a reverse rotating unit(70), a first thruster bearing(52), and a supporting unit(130). The rear propeller is fixed to the driving shaft. The front propeller is supported at the front of the rear propeller to rotate about the driving shaft. The reverse rotating unit reverses the rotation of the driving shaft and transfers the reversed rotation of the driving shaft to the front propeller. The first thruster bearing guides the rotation of the front propeller and transfers the thrust of the front propeller to the driving shaft while the vessel backwardly moves. The supporting unit is fixed to the driving shaft to be adjacently arranged to the first thruster bearing.
