The device comprises an article securing arrangement 12 which secures an article 26. The article may have a moveable securing mechanism 27 in the form of a toggle (46, fig 6a) mounted on a main part 44. The article securing arrangement defines a cavity 24 which receives the moveable securing mechanism 27, and the article securing arrangement may include a co-operating means 20 to co-operate with the moveable securing mechanism in the cavity and secure the article to the anchor device. The anchor device has a height which is no more than 30 mm. The anchor device may comprise a receiving arrangement which has first and second support portions 16, 18 having a plurality of fingers 28 which provide a receiving space 32 which can be filled with concrete to secure the fastening. A suspension arrangement for use with the anchor arrangement is also claimed. |
