<p>Producing polysiloxanes having thiol groups, comprises reacting polysiloxanes containing 2-6C alkenyl groups with dithiols or polythiols. Independent claims are also included for: (1) polysiloxane having thiol groups, comprising structural units derived from di- or polythiols, which is obtainable by the above method; (2) producing copolymers of polysiloxanes, comprising (a) reacting polysiloxanes containing 2-6C alkenyl groups, with dithiols or polythiols to obtain the above polysiloxanes having thiol groups, and (b) reacting the polysiloxanes having thiol groups, with vinyl monomers; and (3) a copolymer comprising (i) polysiloxanes having thiol groups, comprising structural units derived from di- or polythiols and (ii) vinyl monomers.</p> |
