PURPOSE: A guard fence for absorbing shock is provided to improve the safety of a driver and passengers by minimizing impact energy applied to a vehicle. CONSTITUTION: A guard fence(100) for absorbing shock comprises posts(110), inner frames(120), and outer frames(130). The posts are fixed to the ground at uniform intervals. The inner frames are fixed to the sides of the posts. Each inner frame has a protrusion, a pair of joints, and rails. The protrusion has a space with an open side. The joints fix the inner frame to one side of the posts. The rails are formed on the ends of the joints. The outer frames are installed between the adjacent posts. Each outer frame has a shock absorbing space and an insertion portion. The shock absorbing space absorbs shock caused by a vehicle collision and surrounds the exterior of the inner frame. The insertion portion is slid to the rail of the inner frame.
