PURPOSE: A method for preparing chiral oxyindole is provided to effectively prepare optically active substances with high optical purity. CONSTITUTION: A method for preparing chiral oxyindole using a chiral catalyst comprises a step of reacting 3-substituted oxyindole with vinyl sulfone under the presence of the chiral catalyst. The chiral catalyst is a chiral organic catalyst. The 3-substituted oxyindole has a structure of chemical formula 4. The vinyl sulfone compound has a structure of chemical formula 5.
