PURPOSE: A vertical circulation-type drying machine is provided to improve space efficiency as a dryer is manufactured into a box shape without front, rear, left, and right projected portions. CONSTITUTION: A vertical circulation-type drying machine(100) comprises a drying room(120) a hot air passage(130), a circulation passage(140), circulation fans, a heater(160), first and second bypass passages(170,175), and an opening and closing device(185). The drying room holds materials to be dried. The hot air passage is linked to the lower part of the drying room. The upper part of the drying room is linked to the upper part of the hot air passage through the circulation passage. The circulation fans are installed at both sides of the circulation passage. The heater is installed in the circulation passage between the circulation fans. The first and second bypass passages are connected from the middle part of the circulation passage to the drying room and hot air passage. The opening and closing device selectively opens and closes the first and second bypass passages.
