PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To connect a source apparatus and each sink apparatus by operating one of the apparatuses.

SOLUTION: By making a request (Auto-Setup Request) from an apparatus being operated by a user to another apparatus, "association between an image reproduction sink apparatus and a voice reproduction sink apparatus" and "wireless connection" are automated. An image reproduction sink apparatus 30 and a voice reproduction sink apparatus 40 exchange information such as a reproduction format, a delay time of each other. Then, the image reproduction sink apparatus 30 and the sound reproduction sink apparatus 40 are associated by recording the exchanged information and information on the other apparatus of the exchange.
