<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carton that overcomes or at least mitigate the problems of the prior art. <P>SOLUTION: The carton for packaging one or more articles includes an upper panel and a lower panel. The upper panel has an upper aperture for receiving an article. The lower panel has a lower aperture arranged in vertical registry with the upper aperture. The upper panel includes retention tabs arranged along the periphery of the upper aperture and hingedly connected to the upper panel. The lower panel includes at least one engaging tab hingedly connected thereto on the periphery of the lower aperture. The at least one engaging tab is arranged such that a portion of the at least one engaging tab extends through the upper aperture. The at least one engaging tab is positioned in a gap between two of the retention tabs.
