<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly control exposure with respect to even a display area other than a focus area during AF processing. <P>SOLUTION: A digital camera 1 is provided with an imaging device 4 for outputting an imaging signal captured via an imaging optical system 3. The imaging signal is scaled by a digital clamp 5 to be scaled image data. The scaled image data is amplified by an AF amplifier circuit 7 and used for focus detection by a contrast detection AF system. The scaled image data is also amplified by an amplifier circuit 6 for image processing provided separately from the AF amplifier circuit 7 and is displayed by an electronic view finder 12 via a proper image processing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
