<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a virtual machine monitoring system and a monitoring method which prevent influence on operation of a virtual machine, when resource use rate of a server significantly increases. <P>SOLUTION: A virtual machine monitoring method performs the steps of: setting a resource use rate of a cloud server; assigning an Internet protocol address to the cloud server by a dynamic host configuration protocol service of a remote computer; connecting to the cloud server; acquiring a parameter of a virtual machine from hypervisor software; calculating the resource use rate of the cloud server; determining whether or not the resource use rate is larger than the prescribed resource use rate; and transmitting the virtual machine to another cloud server when the resource use rate of one cloud server is larger than the prescribed resource use rate, to make the resource use rate of the cloud server smaller than or equal to the prescribed resource use rate. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
