<p>The method involves filling a free-flowing goods in a valve sack (4) during a filling stage by using a filling pipe (3), and providing a slow-down phase for evacuating the valve sack in a slow-down stage. A pressing force is exerted on the valve sack by using a pressing device (5), until a predetermined reduction of the volume of the valve sack is achieved. A value for the volume of the valve sack is detected by a detection device and a removal signal is provided, such that the pressing force on the valve sack is reduced and the valve sack is removed from the filling pipe. An independent claim is also included for a device for filling a flexible container e.g. sack, with free-flowing goods.</p> |
