<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vending machine capable of previously confirming an IC card to be used by a user for settlement and providing a sense of security to the user. <P>SOLUTION: The vending machine 10 is provided with: a reader/writer 5 for updating an electronic money balance included in electronic settlement service information; a communication part 1 for giving and receiving electronic settlement service to/from an electronic money management center 52 through a network 58; an operation display part 2 for performing operation for selecting a commodity to be purchased by a user; a commodity processing part 6 for providing the commodity selected by the operation display part 2 to the user; a money processing part 4 for executing the settlement of the commodity by cash; a storage part 7 for storing a display image in each electronic settlement service; a card touch display part for displaying electronic settlement service; and a control part 3 for executing settlement with the electronic money management center 52 on the basis of the electronic settlement service read out from the IC card 56 by the reader/writer 5 and controlling the commodity processing part 6. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
