<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for facilitating installation and adjustment work in modernization of a transport system (escalator). <P>SOLUTION: In the method for modernization, an entrance finished floor and exit finished floor that are disposed in a support 1, an entrance module, an exit module, and a center module at the center part are used. The support 1 has: fixings 11 to fix the support 1 to a bearing structure 10 of the transport system, horizontal tie plates 12 to support and horizontally place the entrance and exit modules; lateral tie plates 13 to laterally position the entrance and exit modules; longitudinal tie plates 14 to longitudinally position the entrance and exit modules; and a member for positioning and confirmation so that the entrance and exit modules are arranged while a system line of the transport system is maintained within a permissible range. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
