<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steel pipe press-fitting method with which a steel pipe can be press-fitted and piled underground in a stable state by using a self-traveling steel pipe press-fitting machine with which two clamp devices are provided in a saddle. <P>SOLUTION: A steel pipe press-fitting method uses a self-traveling steel pipe press-fitting machine 10 comprised of a saddle 13 including clamp devices 12a and 12b fixed to an upper end of a preceding steel pipe 11a, a slide base 15 which is provided in the saddle 13 so as to slide and move, a leader 16 which is provided rotatable in the slide base 15, and a vertically movable press-fitting section 18 including a chuck device 17 which is provided vertically movable in the leader 16. The movable clamp device 12a is provided so as to slide and move over a length equal to or more than a diameter of the preceding steel pipe 11a from a position adjacent to the fixed clamp device 12b. A steel pipe 11 is press-fitted by the vertically movable press-fitting section 18 in the state where the clamp devices 12a and 12b are fixed to the upper ends of both-side preceding steel pipes 11a skipping one preceding steel pipe 11a'. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
