<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator, which is capable of preventing the generation of abnormal noise by an outer air sucked into a water storage part of a water discharge trap and the backflow of drain water, and capable of lightly opening a door even when the inside of the refrigerator is in the negative pressure condition. <P>SOLUTION: The refrigerator has the water discharge trap 25 for flowing the drain water collected by a drain pan 16 to a drain pipe 23 arranged in the refrigerator body 1. The water discharge trap 25 integrally has the water storage part 26, a partitioning wall 30 partitioning the water storage part 26 into an inlet chamber 27 and an outlet chamber 28, and inlet passage 31 continuing to the inlet chamber 27, and an outlet passage 32 continuing to the outlet chamber 28. The resisting action of the drain water to the air sucked into the drain water in the inlet chamber 27 side is reduced by making the surface area of the drain water in the inlet chamber 27 larger than the surface area of the drain water in the outlet chamber 28 with the drain water stored in the water storage part 26. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
