<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compressor configured by fixing the outer circumferential surface of a cylinder or the outer circumferential surface of an end plate member arranged on the end surface of the cylinder onto the inner circumferential surface of a casing, while preventing distortion of a support part. <P>SOLUTION: The compressor includes: the cylinder which is housed in the casing 2 and has a compression chamber 11; and a front head 30 to be fixed onto the shaft direction end surface of the cylinder in the casing. When viewed from the axial direction of the compression chamber 11, the front head 30 has a plurality of oil return paths 43 arranged side by side in the circumferential direction on the radially outside of the compression chamber 11 and a plurality of support parts 37 to 41 located between adjoining two oil return paths 43, respectively.
