<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pile warp yarn tension regulator having improved responsiveness to variations in the tension of pile warp yarns. <P>SOLUTION: In the pile warp yarn tension regulator, guide plates 24 are each formed so as to have a set radius of curvature, and guide plates 25 each have a larger radius of curvature than the guide plates 24. The guide plates 24 are arranged on the selvage position sides in a weaving width direction. The guide plates 25 are arranged on the center position side. A plate spring 26 has a length corresponding to the length in the weaving width direction in pile warp yarns Tp. In the plate spring 26, an elastically deformable region L1 becomes small on the center position side where the tension of the pile warp yarns Tp is high. A change in an elastically deformable region L2 of the plate spring 26 is small on the selvage position sides where the tension of the pile warp yarns Tp is low. Consequently, a strong spring force acts on the pile warp yarns Tp with high tension, and a weak spring force acts on the pile warp yarns Tp with low tension. Thereby, the plate spring 26 is maintained on the same plane, so that responsiveness to variations in the tension of the pile warp yarns Tp is not impaired. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
