PURPOSE: A method for reproducing streaming data and a terminal thereof are provided to alarm a driver in advance if data regeneration stops for buffering. CONSTITUTION: If regenerating audio data stops for buffering in a streaming service, a terminal predicts a buffering residual time. If the predicted buffering residual time is smaller than a predetermined time, the terminal performs a pervious notification method. If the predicted buffering residual time is larger than the predetermined time, the terminal again predicts a buffering residual time.
