<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and method for producing frozen boiled rice, capable of freezing boiled rice in grains. <P>SOLUTION: The frozen boiled rice producing device includes: a water immersion means 13 of immersing boiled rice in water into grains; a supply conveyor 14 which conveys the boiled rice made into grains by the water immersion means 13 to a drying, cooling, and freezing chamber 12; a conveyor 15 for in-chamber conveyance which moves in the drying, cooling, and freezing chamber 12 from an entrance side to an exit side; a loosening body 17 which scatters the boiled rice on the supply conveyor 14 over the conveyor 15 for in-chamber conveyance; and a cooling drying chamber 20 for removing moisture on boiled rice waters and freezing chambers 21a, 21b which freeze the boiled rice having been passed through the cooling and driving chamber 20, the chambers being provided in the drying, cooling, and freezing chamber in order along the conveyor 15 for in-chamber conveyance. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
