<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a calcium supplement which has excellent calcium absorbability and a method for producing the same. <P>SOLUTION: A snail is ground including its shell, and, in the obtained ground product, protein is subjected to decomposition treatment with enzyme to produce a calcium supplement.
