<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact and inexpensive wide-angle image pickup lens favorably compensating aberrations and having an excellent optical performance. <P>SOLUTION: The image pickup lens includes, in order from an object side: a meniscus first lens with its convex surface on the object side which has a negative refractive power, and of which imaging side surface is aspherical; a meniscus second lens with its convex surface on the object side which has a negative refractive power, and of which imaging side surface is aspherical; a biconvex third lens with its convex surfaces on the object side and an imaging side which has a positive refractive power and of which imaging side surface is aspherical; an aperture stop; and a biconvex fourth lens with its convex surfaces on the object side and an imaging side which has a positive refractive power and of which both surfaces are aspherical. The first lens to the fourth lens are formed of a resin material, the imaging surface side of the first lens is configured to have a strong negative power compared with a case of forming a spherical surface in an effective beam diameter, the imaging surface side of the second lens is configured to have a weak negative power compared with a case of forming a spherical surface in the effective beam diameter, and the object side surface of the third lens is configured to have a weak positive power compared with a case of forming a spherical surface in the effective beam diameter. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
