<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the deterioration of image reproductivity caused by reverse-transfer of a toner image having an upper position in the transfer order. <P>SOLUTION: An electrophotographic image forming apparatus which forms a color image corrects a raster image indicating the necessity of exposure for each pixel. A raster image correction part included in the image forming apparatus makes raster images which are of colors other than a color of a toner image transferred last as correction objects, from among a plurality of raster images by color. The raster image correction part targets on color pixels, which correspond to dots to which toner is attached when a latent image of the correction object is developed, within a low density area where the ratio of color pixels is equal to or less than a threshold. In a case where a pixel is not a color pixel, having a pixel array position in a raster image corresponding to a toner image transferred after the toner image corresponding to the correction object is transferred, same as a pixel array position of a target pixel within the correction object, a pixel value of at least one pixel within the low density area is changed so that a toner attachment amount of a dot corresponding to the target pixel is increased. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
