PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce efforts required for connection via a network.

SOLUTION: A communication device has: a first communication unit connected with an external device via a network and performing communication; a second communication unit connected with the external device directly and performing communication; a generation unit generating and outputting connection data required for connection with the first communication unit via the network in the external device; and a controller making the second communication unit output the connection data to the external device when the external device is connected with the second communication unit, and making the first communication unit start the communication with the external device when the first communication unit receives a connection request on the basis of the connection data from the external device after outputting the connection data.
