<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the following problem that, in a self-contained type showcase mounted with a refrigerating unit, since sometimes a sufficient space in a machine room is not secured and sizes of an element storage box, a condenser, an air blower, etc., are limited, it is necessary to efficiently dissipate heat generated by the condenser and the element storage box in the machine room to the outside of the machine room or a machine body of the showcase. <P>SOLUTION: The machine room 1 in the showcase includes the element storage box 5 including: the condenser 2; a blower 4; a condenser communication air passage 3 which guides the air of the blower to the condense; a compressor 7; and an element which controls the drive of the compressor 7. The machine room 1 further includes an element storage box communication air passage 6 which guides the air of the blower 4 to the element storage box 5, and a condenser communication air passage 3.
