<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To recover oil contained in a blow-by gas with a low-cost and simple structure in a four-cycle engine. <P>SOLUTION: The four-cycle engine includes a cylinder 2, a piston 12, a crank case 19 for defining an oil chamber 33 reserving oil, and cylinder head cover 26 covering a valve operating chambers housing intake/exhaust valves. The blow-by gas retained in the crank case 14 is led to the valve operating chambers 26a, 26b to be discharged into an air cleaner chamber therefrom. The four-cycle engine is provided with a return passage 31 for returning the oil from the valve operating chamber 26a to the oil chamber 33, and the discharge port 26c of the blow-by gas from the valve operating chamber 26a to the air cleaner chamber is covered with felt 29. The felt 29 has, for example, a belt shape, with its upper end disposed in front of a blow-by discharge port 29c and its lower end disposed in the return passage 31. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
