<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic ticket examination machine for suppressing an onerous passenger from performing illegal passage by squatting, and for suppressing any right ticket credit from being remained undeleted. <P>SOLUTION: An automatic ticket examination machine 10 includes: an opening/closing door 16; a ticket examination machine control part 23 for controlling the opening/closing operation of the opening/closing door; a sensor 15 for height measurement for outputting information for measuring the height of a passenger who enters a ticket examination passage; a height measurement part 27 for measuring the height of the passenger on the basis of the sensor output of the sensor for height measurement; and an onerous passenger detection part 28 for detecting whether or not the passenger is an onerous passenger on the basis of the height measurement result of the height measurement means. The ticket examination machine control part is configured to output a control signal for controlling the opening/closing operation of the opening/closing door on the basis of the onerous passenger detection result of the onerous passenger detection part, and to block the illegal passage by squatting of the onerous passenger. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
