<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a music performance program capable of executing music performance operation with enhanced minuteness, by an operation of moving an input device itself, and the like. <P>SOLUTION: An input device includes a movement and orientation sensor for detecting a movement or an orientation of the input device itself. Firstly, information about the movement or the orientation of the input device having been detected by this movement and orientation sensor is obtained. Next, a difference between the orientation of the input device having been obtained, and a predetermined reference orientation is calculated.
