<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a goods carrying auxiliary apparatus capable of carrying goods upstairs or downstairs using stairs safely without using a power unit. <P>SOLUTION: The goods carrying auxiliary apparatus 10 is composed of a casing 14 provided in the ascending and descending direction of the stairs 12 in parallel to the inclination of the stairs 12 that accommodates a sliding platform 24 formed on the stairs 12 in which sliding members 22 biased by springs 26 are arranged in a row, a sliding body 16 with a sliding surface 30a on its under surface that has a recess 32b on its upside surface that receives the load of the goods Y to be carried, and a track composed of a sidewall 14a, a sidewall 14b, a sidewall 14c and a sidewall 14d of the casing 14 that regulate the track of the sliding body 16.
