<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dental root canal treating handpiece having a contact point structure capable of selectively responding according to kinds of cutting tools by easily constituting a signal circuit to for measuring a root canal length so as to match with an outer shape of a head part. <P>SOLUTION: In the dental root canal treating handpiece 1 having a front end head part 2, a small diameter neck part 3 arranged continuously to the front end head part 2, and a gripping part 4 arranged continuously to the neck part and grripped by hand fingers, a tool holding part 29 detachably holding a cutting rotating tool 5 is arranged in the front end head part rotatably around an axis, the neck part has an electroconductive body 85 for transmitting root canal length measuring signals arranged inward such that a part of the same faces a concave part 3a recessedly arranged from a surface periphery of the neck part and a cover member 36 detachably fitted and fixed to the concave part 3a, and the cover member has a contact point part piece 37 electrically contact the electroconductive body 85 when being fitted in the concave part 3a and an electrode part piece 38 arranged continuously to the contact point part piece and electrically connected to the rotating tool 5. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
