<p>A drive device is equipped with a switching circuit and an error signal generation circuit. The switching circuit is constructed so as to be capable of connecting to an external time generation circuit, and is constructed so as to switch the driving condition pertaining to the driving voltage for a voltage-driven element on the basis of the measured time that is measured using the time generation circuit, said switching of the condition occurring during the transition period in which the voltage-driven element transitions between the driven state and the non-driven state. The error signal generation circuit is constructed so as to generate an error signal when the switching circuit is unable to measure time accurately using the time generation circuit.</p> |
