<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stepless check device capable of properly setting the various operating conditions of an opened/closed body, and to provide a check mechanism. <P>SOLUTION: A door check mechanism 4 has a pair of turnable arms 10, 10. When a piezoelectric body 19 is elongated by energization, the arms 10, 10 are turned in the opening directions to release a rolling element 9 into a free condition. On the other hand, the piezoelectric body 19 is shrunk by deenergization, the arms 10, 10 are turned in the closing directions by an energizing member 15 and the arms 10, 10 push the rolling element 9 against a check rod 6 into a locked condition. When the rolling element 9 is moved up/down during opening/closing of a door by a protruded part 21, an electric signal responding to protrusion detection is output from the piezoelectric body 19. A stepless door check device 3 determines the operating condition of the vehicle door, based on the electric signal acquired from the piezoelectric body 19, and changes over the vibrating speed of the piezoelectric body 19, based on the determination result, to set the operating condition of the vehicle door. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
