<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum cleaner that gives no discomfort feeling to a user and has a high air purification effect. <P>SOLUTION: The vacuum cleaner includes: a vacuum cleaner body 1 mounted with an electric fan 10 for generating suction air, a dust collection chamber 13 for collecting dust sucked by the suction air, and a pressure sensor 27 for detecting the pressure inside the dust collection chamber 13; an electrostatic atomizing device 17 for generating charged fine particulate water; and a control part 26 for controlling energization of the electrostatic atomizing device 17. The charged fine particulate water is discharged into atmosphere along with exhaust air blown out by the electric fan 10. The control part 26 controls the energization of the electrostatic atomizing device 17 according to a pressure value detected by the pressure sensor 27 so that the level of ozone generated by the electrostatic atomizing device 17 is adequately prevented from increasing, thus achieving a vacuum cleaner with a high air purification effect that can completely avoid giving a user a discomfort feeling, and can supply charged fine particulate water in a stable manner. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
