PURPOSE: A system for monitoring the movement path of lightning is provided to improve the efficiency of communication facility recovery by monitoring the movement path of lightning using lightning detected signals. CONSTITUTION: A lightning detecting device(20) includes a broadband antenna, an amplitude limiting unit, an amplifying unit, a matching unit, a controlling unit, and a transmitting unit. The broadband antenna receives lightning signals. The amplitude limiting unit limits the amplitude of the received lightning signals in a predetermined threshold. The amplifying unit amplifies the amplitude limited lightning signals. The matching unit matches the amplified lightning signals to a lightning monitoring device. The controlling unit transmits alarming signals to the lightning monitoring device if the intensity of the amplified lightning signals is excess to a reference value. The transmitting unit transmits the matched lightning signals and transmits the alarming signals to the lightning monitoring device.
