PURPOSE: A method for detecting hydrogen chloride using color changing property is provided to sensitively recognize hydrochloric acid without a certain leveling agent. CONSTITUTION: A method for detecting hydrogen chloride using color change comprises: a step of providing a first solution containing two components selected among metal nanoparticles, oxidizers, and chlorine ions; a step of providing a second solution containing remaining component among the same; a step of mixing the first and second solutions and preparing a mixture solution; and a step of measuring the color change of the mixed solution.
