In order to assist safe and efficient inductive charging of electric vehicles, different means for automatically eliminating destruction in the transmission of energy are proposed. For example, water, dirt, snow, ice or refuse such as, for example, metal cans or chewing gum paper in the transmission path can be removed or a fire may be extinguished. A high level of efficiency of the transmission of energy is ensured in this way. At the same time, safety is increased and the risk of a fire or material damage is prevented. In order to eliminate the disruption, different mechanical means for automatic cleaning and drying are presented. For example, the components for inductive charging can be sprayed down with a water nozzle and then dried with a blower. Alternatively, the components can be tilted, pivoted or shaken in order to remove objects, foliage, dirt or moisture or drive away animals. Optionally, sensors are used in order to determine a degree of soiling or the type of disruption. The charging process can also be adapted to the point of eliminating detected disruption factors, or can be entirely cancelled. |
