The method involves generating two network structure images. The reference values of network elements (1-10) are generated based on the two network structure images respectively. The other reference value is determined by the computer-aided simulation due to the changed network structure image. The comparison values are generated by comparing the reference values. A line network underlying routing algorithm is adapted so that one reference value of the network element (4) having the highest reference value is reduced.
