<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce bending deflection of a bolt in order to solve the following problems: when bending deflection occurs in the bolt due to bending vibration in a bolt fastening member of a machine or a construction structure, repetitive bending stress amplitude occurs in the bolt to reduce fatigue strength, and especially when a vibration close to natural frequency of the bolt is applied and the bolt resonates, the bending deflection increases and the repetitive bending stress amplitude also increases. <P>SOLUTION: In the bolt fastening member, an opening between a bolt hole and a bolt is filled with a dilatancy fluid. The dilatancy fluid prevents the bolt from being rapidly deflected by the bending vibration, thereby reducing the repetitive bending stress amplitude of the bolt as a result. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
