<p>[Problem] To provide a current collector box that is to be installed at a step preceding a power conversion apparatus that is for converting DC power to AC power, and that will make configuration of a storage-battery utilization system easy. [Solution] The current collector box is provided with: a step-up circuit comprising a switching element (8) that electrically connects the connection point between a reactor (5) and a diode (6), which are included in a series circuit consisting of the reactor (5), the diode (6), and a capacitor (7) to be connected between the positive-pole and the negative-pole sides of a solar cell string (2), to the negative-pole side of the solar cell string (2); a storage battery (4); a switching unit (9) that switches the output of the step-up circuit, which can be obtained from a terminal at the positive-pole side of the capacitor (7) of the step-up circuit, between the storage-battery (4) side, and the side of a power conversion apparatus (3) that is for outputting AC output, which is a side different from the storage-battery (4) side; and a control unit (27) that charges the storage battery (4) when the switching unit (9) is supplying the output of the step-up circuit to the storage-battery (4) side, and controls the ON/OFF of the switching element (8) such that the output of the step-up circuit or the power generated by the solar cells will approach a maximum value or a value in the vicinity of the maximum value when the switching unit (9) is supplying the output of the step-up circuit to the power-conversion apparatus (3) side.</p> |
