<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conveying device capable of inhibiting noise from being produced when a recording medium is fed by a feeding roller, and a recording device. <P>SOLUTION: The conveying device includes: a paper cassette 15 in which a plurality of sheets of paper P are stored in a laminated state; a paper feeding driving roller 35 which is configured to be movable in a contacting/separating direction relative to the uppermost paper P1 out of the respective sheets of paper P stored in the paper cassette 15, and successively feeds the paper P to a conveyance path 16 to feed the paper P1 first by rotating in a state where it comes into contact with the paper P1; a conveying roller 18 which conveys the paper P1 to the downstream side of the conveyance path 16 by rotating in a state where it holds the paper P1 fed by the paper feeding driving roller 35; and a link mechanism which separates the paper feeding driving roller 35 from the paper P1 after the leading edge of the paper P1 fed by the paper feeding driving roller 35 is held by the conveying roller 18. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
