<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent decrease in operability of a first key when a display area of a second key neighboring to the first key is enlarged into the display area of the first key, in an information input device that has a display part having a touch panel on its screen, that displays a keyboard on the screen, and that inputs information from the key board by detecting a press on the display area of a key of the keyboard on the touch panel. <P>SOLUTION: In a software key board, when next input candidate keys, "A", "E", "Y", "U", "I", and "O" are displayed being enlarged, the display area, for example, of the key "S" is narrowed by an overlapping area 20 because of the enlarged, displayed key "A." Decrease in operability of the key "S", however, is prevented by setting the pressing detecting area of the touch panel to the area before the enlargement. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
