PURPOSE: An armature assembly process and a residual chip removal device easily removing the residual chip are provided to remove a residual chip by easily pulling the chip entered between coils using magnetism. CONSTITUTION: First and second rectilinear motion devices(120,122) are installed on both sides of a die(110). First and second transfer blocks(130,132) are respectively mounted on the first and second rectilinear motion devices. The first and second transfer blocks are moved to both sides of a rotary shaft of an assembly(10). First and second supporting devices(150,152) rotationally support both sides of the armature assembly. A motor(160) rotates the armature assembly. First and second transfer devices(140,142) respectively move the first and second transfer blocks. An installation block(190) is installed on the die. A magnet head(300) catches a chip remained in the armature assembly.
