<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chair type massage device which enables any users to appropriately massage his/her calf, ankle, sole, or the like irrespective of individual differences in the lower thighs by displacing a leg rest part by adjusting to a position where a user needs a massage in the calf while extending and displacing a foot rest in accordance with a length of the lower thigh. <P>SOLUTION: The chair type massage device includes a backrest 4, a seat part 2, the leg rest part 5, a base frame 27 for supporting the leg rest part 5, and the foot rest 6. First and second expanding/contracting mechanisms for operating to expand and contract the leg rest part 5 and the foot rest 6 are provided between the leg rest part 5 and the base frame 27 and between the foot rest 6 and the base frame 27. The first expanding/contracting mechanism is constituted by a first guide structure provided between a frame 18 of the leg rest part 5 and the base frame 27, and a frame driving structure using a motor 53 as a driving source. The second expanding/contracting mechanism is constituted by a second guide structure provided between a frame 22 of the foot rest 6 and the base frame 27, and a spring 61 for biasing to return the frame 22 to an extending standby position. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
