<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing an implant capable of uniformly coating the inside of pores or voids in an implant surface with hydroxyapatite. <P>SOLUTION: The air within the pores or voids of the implant is removed by evacuating the implant by a vacuum system, and the implant is impregnated with water and a calcium phosphate-based solution or a calcium phosphate suspension in an air-removed state. Since such a solution is penetrated into the pores or voids, air is never penetrated into the pores or voids even when the implant is exposed to the atmosphere. The implant is further dipped in a calcium phosphate suspension as it is in this state. Then, since the calcium phosphate is penetrated into the pores or voids, a uniform calcium phosphate thin film can be formed not only on the implant surface but also within the pores or voids of the implant. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
