PURPOSE: A silver nanowire with projections and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to obtain high manufacturing yield by reducing the production ratio of byproducts such as metal particles. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing a silver nanowire with projections the steps of heating and inducing reaction of polyol, a dispersion stabilizing agent, a silver precursor, bronsted acid, and a halogen ion donor and rapidly cooling the reactant.
