Electromagnet with adjustment pin

The electromagnet has an armature (17) that is movably mounted in an armature space. The armature is moved by application of current with respect to a coil (15). An armature spring (26) and an adjusting pin (23) are provided in a magnetic yoke (21). The armature spring is supported on a shoulder (25) of the adjusting pin and on the armature in quiescent state, so that characteristic curve of the electromagnet is adjustable. The adjusting pin is formed using cold forming process. An independent claim is included for a pressure regulating valve.
